Smart Pergola (H. Smart Ltd.) was founded in 2019 in Arraba in the Galilee by Dr. Hikmat Naamnih. We import and install electric aluminum pergolas, opening glass roofs, ZIP screens, guillotine windows, awnings and umbrellas for private homes, restaurants and businesses.

An electric pergola is a shading system, not a fixed roof, and it protects from rain and sun. The pergola itself is waterproof; slight leaks can only occur at the seam between the pergola and the wall it is mounted on.
Whether a building permit is needed depends on size and location, under the pergola exemption rules and local authority guidelines.
